Beginning on June 1st (coincidentally, my birthday) I am going to be spending some time on Squidoo to see if I can make it work for me. I've spent most of my time reading blogs, researching and brainstorming but now its time to start taking action. With the beginning of a new month almost here and a new dedication to making this online thing work, I think its time to start challenging myself. Here's to hoping lens number two isn't as difficult to get published! Admittedly, even with the struggles I had with the first one, it was still a lot of fun to create. Now that I've had my first run in with the system filters and overcome it, I'm ready to tackle my next lens. I'll definitely be using all of the advice I received in the forum on my future lenses. Whew, I'm glad that's over with!Ĭreating this first lens has already helped me to learn a lot of things about the Squidoo platform. As soon as I deleted it, everything was good to go. It took 2 days and trying multiple things, but I did finally figure out that one specific user poll I had added was the culprit. As soon as I hit the publish button to post my updated content, the system flagged my lens for low quality content. Following the advice of some veteran Squidoo users however, I went back and did some edits to add a more personal tone and some things that would make the lens more interactive. When I initially published the lens it went through with no problems.
